Supply Chain Planning and Optimization Manager – Agribusiness

Our client is a global leading agri-business in Thailand. The company is looking for a suitable candidate for the position of Supply Chain Planning and Optimization Manager to join their team. This critical role will be responsible for overseeing order scheduling, capacity management, and inventory planning for our export operations factory. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of supply chain principles, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record of managing scheduling roles for complex supply chains.

Salary: 70K-80K

Location: Pakkret, Nonthaburi

Job Description:

• Develop and optimize order scheduling processes to ensure timely and efficient fulfillment of customer orders.
• Coordinate with production planning and logistics teams to align schedules and minimize lead times.
• Monitor order status and proactively address any potential delays or disruptions.
• Develop and implement robust demand planning and forecasting methodologies to help manage future demand.
• Collaborate with sales and factory teams to gather input and refine forecasts.
• Analyze production capacity and resource constraints to identify bottlenecks and optimize resource utilization.
• Develop strategies to balance capacity with demand fluctuations
• Develop and implement inventory management strategies to balance inventory levels with customer demand and minimize carrying costs.
• Collaborate with procurement team to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of raw materials and components.

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Over 10 years of experience in supply chain planning and optimization, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of supply chain principles, including demand planning, inventory management, and capacity planning.
• Experience with advanced planning and scheduling (APS) software and optimization algorithms with practical experience using tools to manage dynamic demand. Proficiency in software such as SAP APO, Oracle SCM, or other relevant planning systems is a plus.
• Proven ability to analyze complex data and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Good command of English.
