The branch in Thailand is currently seeking a highly qualified and motivated candidate for the position of Business Development Manager. This role will focus on industries including Oil and Gas, Construction, and Hydraulic sectors.
Job Description and Responsibilities:
- Sales and Business Development: Conducting technical and commercial sales to various industry sectors, focusing on Oil & Gas, Construction, and Hydraulic applications.
- Project Management: Coordinating service support teams to meet customer requirements effectively while managing projects to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Customer Base Expansion: Developing and expanding the customer base across all product-related industry sectors.
- Customer Relationship Management: Performing regular visits to customers to understand market demands, identify new opportunities, and recommend effective sales strategies.
- Sales Planning and Forecasting: Establishing sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories. Projecting expected sales volumes and profits for existing and new products.
- Team Management and Development: Managing personnel, developing sales and sales support staff, and providing guidance and training to enhance team performance.
- Reporting and Analysis: Preparing weekly reports on customer visits, order intake, and addressing customer complaints. Regularly assessing performance and implementing corrective actions when needed.
- Budget and Benchmarking: Preparing sales budgets and conducting benchmarking exercises to identify growth opportunities and improve sales performance.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in technical and commercial sales, preferably in the Oil & Gas, Construction, or Hydraulic sectors.
- Strong project management and coordination skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with customers.
- Experience in sales forecasting, budget preparation, and achieving sales targets.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a sales team.
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken); knowledge of Thai is a plus.
