Job Description

This role ensures HR policies are updated and compliant with local laws, supports recruitment to attract top talent, and provides HR services across the SEA region. It oversees HR systems, reports, and administration, while fostering cross-cultural initiatives, employee engagement, and organizational development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • HR Policy Management:
    • Regularly update and maintain HR policies and procedures for all SE Asia countries.
    • Ensure all policies comply with local laws and regulations.
    • Effectively communicate HR policies to employees, utilizing various communication tools to enhance understanding.
  • Recruitment & Onboarding:
    • Collaborate with recruitment agencies and improve the quality of their services.
    • Communicate job requirements clearly to recruitment agencies.
    • Conduct interviews, propose salary and benefits packages, and handle the selection process.
    • Manage induction and orientation programs for new employees.
    • Prepare Offer Letters, set up HR system accounts, and maintain updated employee profiles.
    • Keep job descriptions current and review them regularly.
    • Ensure timely probation reviews and completion.
  • Compensation & Benefits Management:
    • Conduct regular reviews and analyses of compensation and benefits, ensuring both external competitiveness and internal equity.
    • Prepare annual salary increase reports and summaries.
    • Communicate salary increases, promotions, and bonuses to individual employees.
    • Organize staff recognition programs across the region.
    • Prepare monthly payroll summaries, including overtime, allowances, bonuses, and other benefits, for payroll processing.
    • Handle tax submissions, Social Security Fund, Provident Fund, and payroll-related documentation.
    • Generate payroll reports, including the 15-month listing report, and submit for management approval.
    • Ensure accurate payroll entries and prepare G/L for payroll and 13th-month accrual.
  • Payroll Management: 
    • Ensure the accuracy of monthly payroll for all SE Asia countries, reconciling discrepancies from the prior month.
    • Verify and reconcile payroll reports, including 15-month listing and G/L entries.
    • Submit payroll transactions for approval through the payroll system.
  • HR Reporting:
    • Generate monthly and quarterly HR reports, including headcount, staff costs, man-hours, and organizational charts.
    • Provide additional reports as requested by management.
    • Assist in preparing the annual staff cost budget for the SE Asia region.
  • Leave and Benefits Management:
    • Maintain records of employee leave and benefits.
    • Serve as the liaison for insurance companies, social security offices, and brokers, ensuring all employee-related documents are up to date.
    • Arrange for medical check-ups for employees in Thailand.
    • Prepare long-service certificates for qualifying employees.

Job Location:

  • Based primarily in Ayutthaya province (Wangnoi), with occasional duties at the Bangkok office.

Requirements:

  • Must own a car and be able to drive.
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of HR management and development experience in a multinational company.
  • Strong knowledge of local employment laws and HR practices.
  • Strong managerial skills with the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
  • Proactive, results-oriented approach.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and HR software.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Quick-thinking, adaptable, and responsible with a positive attitude.
  • Extensive experience in providing executive-level support.
