Job Description:
- Leading and Managing the Rewards Team: Supervising and mentoring a team of compensation and benefits professionals, ensuring high performance, collaboration, and the development of team members.
- Compensation Strategy & Planning: Leading the design and execution of competitive compensation programs, including base salary, bonuses, incentives, and stock options and ensuring alignment with business goals, market trends, and internal equity.
- Benefits Program Management: Overseeing and enhancing employee benefits programs, ensuring offerings meet employee needs and are cost-effective. This includes health, wellness, retirement plans, and other benefits.
- Market Research and Benchmarking: Conducting market research and competitor analysis to ensure the company's rewards packages remain competitive and using data and insights to recommend adjustments as necessary.
- Performance Management and Incentives: Collaborating with leadership to develop performance-based reward systems, including short-term and long-term incentive plans (e.g., performance bonuses, stock options, and recognition programs).
- Compliance and Governance: Ensuring all compensation and benefits programs comply with local, state, and federal regulations. Conducting audits and assessments to identify risks and ensure compliance.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyzing compensation and benefits data to track trends, identify issues, and present insights to senior leadership. Using metrics to continually improve the effectiveness of the rewards program.
- Employee Communication: Acting as the point of contact for internal stakeholders regarding rewards-related matters. Ensuring employees understand the rewards programs and their impact on overall compensation.
- Payroll Management: Overseeing payroll administration, ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee compensation. Ensuring payroll systems are maintained and comply with legal requirements and company policies. Collaborating with finance and HR teams to address payroll-related inquiries and resolve issues.
- Budget Management: Developing and managing the rewards budget, ensuring cost-effective programs while meeting organizational objectives.
- Continuous Improvement: Staying informed about emerging trends, technology, and best practices in rewards and compensation, and applying these insights to improve the organization’s rewards programs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Human Resources, Finance & Accounting, or related fields.
- At least 6–8 years of working experience in a related background in Compensation and Benefits, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Experience working with HRIS systems, payroll platforms, and data analysis tools.
- High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- Experience in managing a team is preferable.
- Excellent MS Office skills (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint), Power BI.
