As part of the Human Resources team, this role is responsible for overseeing employee relations and general administration functions, ensuring a compliant, engaging, and productive work environment. The ideal candidate will play a key role in implementing company policies, handling disciplinary matters, and fostering positive employee relations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Policy Enforcement: Ensuring compliance with company rules and regulations while effectively communicating expectations regarding employee conduct.
  • Disciplinary Management: Addressing employee performance and behavioral concerns, and implementing appropriate disciplinary measures following company policies.
  • Employee Exit Process: Managing resignation and termination procedures, ensuring smooth transitions, proper documentation, and compliance with labour laws.
  • Workplace Monitoring: Overseeing employee activities to maintain alignment with company objectives and sustain workplace productivity.
  • CSR & Employee Engagement: Supporting and promoting Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, encouraging employee participation in community programs.
  • Employee Welfare Programs: Leading and managing the employee welfare committee, driving initiatives that enhance employee well-being and workplace satisfaction.
  • Feedback Management: Gathering and addressing employee suggestions and complaints, fostering a culture of open communication and continuous improvement.
  • Supervisor Development: Enhancing the skills of production supervisors by providing guidance on discipline, roles, responsibilities, and labour law compliance.
  • Coaching & Training: Conducting coaching sessions for supervisors on various HR topics, including disciplinary procedures, employee welfare, and workplace policies.
  • Performance Reviews: Managing the annual assessment process for production employees, ensuring constructive feedback and professional development opportunities.
  • Workplace Safety & Compliance: Enforcing drug-free workplace policies and ensuring a safe, compliant work environment.
  • Employee Communication: Facilitating effective communication with employees regarding company policies, updates, and workplace matters.
  • Onboarding & Orientation: Conducting onboarding sessions for new employees, ensuring they understand company expectations and policies.
  • Time & Attendance Management: Collaborating with the Workday Time Attendance team to maintain accurate tracking of employee work hours.
  • Timekeeping Oversight: Supervising timekeeping processes within Workday, ensuring compliance with company guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Male candidate preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • 5–7 years of experience in employee relations, engagement, and general administration within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of labour laws and HR best practices.
  • Good command of English.
