Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager with a background in the Food/FMCG manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of preventive maintenance (PM), corrective maintenance (CM), and autonomous maintenance (AM) and experience leading maintenance teams in a fast-paced production environment. This role will also require experience in project management, managing CAPEX and OPEX, and working with key performance indicators such as MTBR (Mean Time Between Repairs) and MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures). The individual must have hands-on knowledge of automation and possess strong problem-solving abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preventive Maintenance (PM): Developing and implementing a comprehensive preventive maintenance schedule to ensure minimal downtime and optimized production efficiency.
- Corrective Maintenance (CM): Supervising and leading corrective maintenance activities to promptly address equipment failures and breakdowns, ensuring quick turnaround times.
- Autonomous Maintenance (AM): Promoting and facilitating an autonomous maintenance culture among operators, providing training and support to enhance equipment reliability.
- Project Management: Leading maintenance-related projects, from planning to execution, ensuring timelines, budgets, and safety standards are met.
- CAPEX/OPEX Management: Overseeing capital expenditure (CAPEX) and operational expenditure (OPEX) budgets, ensuring cost-effective maintenance practices are implemented.
- TPM (Total Productive Maintenance): Implementing TPM principles across the site, focusing on improving overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) through continuous improvement activities.
- MTBR & MTBF Monitoring: Utilizing MTBR and MTBF metrics to track and improve equipment reliability, setting targets for reducing downtime and increasing asset lifespan.
- Automation Expertise: Applying knowledge of automation systems to troubleshoot and enhance production lines, integrating advanced technologies to improve efficiency.
- Team Leadership: Leading, mentoring, and developing the maintenance team to ensure high performance and safety standards are met.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensuring compliance with regulatory safety standards and maintaining a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing (preferably in Food or FMCG sectors).
- Hands-on experience with automation systems and troubleshooting.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
