Job Description
Our client was established in 2006. They began their activities as a small trading company supplying a few ingredients for meat processing.
Job Responsibility:
- Overseeing and managing the end-to-end import and export operations of food ingredients, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.
- Coordinating with suppliers, logistics providers, and internal teams to ensure smooth and timely shipment of goods.
- Handling all necessary import/export documentation, including customs clearance, permits, and certificates.
- Ensuring full compliance with Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations and other relevant authorities.
- Monitoring and staying updated on changes in international trade policies, tariffs, and regulatory requirements.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, shipping companies, and suppliers.
- Optimizing supply chain efficiency, reducing costs and lead times while maintaining quality standards.
- Managing and resolving any issues related to customs clearance, shipping delays, or regulatory compliance.
- Working closely with quality assurance teams to ensure all imported/exported food ingredients meet safety and quality standards.
Qualification:
- 30-45 years old, Thai only.
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in Import & Export Management within the Food and Pharma (Trading) industry.
- Strong background and knowledge of FDA Thai (อย.) regulations and customs clearance (HS Code/ใบขน).
- Experience in operation and control of the logistics process with freight forwarders and shipping companies.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Patient, responsible, able to make decisions, and work well under pressure.
