Job Description

Our client is looking for a motivated and experienced Senior Business Development Analyst with a focus on real estate.

You will be joining their business development team to help create plans for unique, multi-purpose real estate projects. You’ll also collaborate with the research team to develop market studies, financial models, and project cash flow forecasts.

Responsibilities:

Conducting Investment Feasibility Studies

• Conducting detailed studies to assess the potential of new investments, including market, financial, and physical assessments.
• Assisting in preparing ROI analysis, forecasts, and risk evaluations for development opportunities.
• Offering market insights to guide budgeting and investment decisions.
• Performing due diligence for potential real estate acquisitions or partnerships and providing recommendations.

Leading Industrial Real Estate Market Research

• Leading market studies by analyzing demographic, trend, and site data for real estate opportunities.
• Researching the industrial real estate market, comparing findings with the company’s projects to improve effectiveness.
• Using surveys and reports to understand local demographics, demand patterns, and trends.

Managing Project Leadership

• Leading small business development projects, ensuring alignment with company goals.
• Setting project objectives, and managing budgets, timelines, and resources.
• Tracking progress and addressing any issues to ensure projects remain on schedule.

Collaborating on Business Development

• Monitoring the client’s retail market progress, competitors, and trends to identify new opportunities or potential threats.
• Working with different teams to develop business plans, marketing strategies, and products/services based on market research.
• Supporting all stages of project development, from initial planning to legal processes and strategic planning.

Delivering Strategic Presentations

• Preparing clear and professional reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders (e.g., Board presentations, investment reports).
• Presenting insights and recommendations in a clear and actionable manner.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in real estate development or project management.
• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, finance, real estate development, economics, or a related field.
• Strong skills in financial modeling and forecasting.
• Good understanding of real estate markets and financial principles.
• A growth mindset and openness to new opportunities.
• Strong research, problem-solving, and analytical skills; detail-oriented, proactive, and with good interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Passionate about research and teamwork.
• Proficiency in written English.
