Our client is a leading global MNC eye health product company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and organizing sales calls effectively, managing time to ensure maximum customer interaction and exceptional service.
- Achieving sales force effectiveness targets outlined in the annual territory plan, such as daily calls, customer engagement time, and optimal coverage of the customer base.
- Overseeing the sales operations of the territory team.
- Meeting the goals set in the personal development plan, in collaboration with the National Sales Manager.
- Aligning with the National Sales Manager’s strategies to develop and implement trade marketing strategies, promotions, and action plans.
- Understanding the needs of our ideal customers and how they relate to our product offerings.
- Contributing to the development of marketing programs and initiatives to support business growth and achieve budget targets.
- Working closely with Sales Reps to ensure effective market understanding and management.
- Conducting business evaluations and reviews for key accounts.
- Persuading key decision-makers and eye care professionals of the clinical and commercial advantages of our product range, encouraging proactive promotion and prescription of our brand.
- Staying updated on industry trends and competitor products.
- Leading and inspiring a team of Sales Reps.
- Supervising the sales team to address customer complaints, inquiries, and adverse events in line with SOPs.
Qualifications/Training:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
- Proven experience in planning and executing sales strategies.
- Strong experience in customer relationship management.
- Experience in managing and guiding a sales team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
- Ability to lead a sales team effectively.
Experience:
- 1-3 years of sales management experience, ideally in FMCG, consumer goods, or the Pharma OTC market.
- Essential experience in a sales role within a customer-centric environment, with a demonstrated record of achieving targets and delivering results. Experience in the optical industry is a plus.
- Previous experience working in a multinational company is preferred.
