Job Description
Our client is a hospitality-led premium workspace by Industrious, with over 150 locations worldwide across APAC, the US, and Europe. They are currently seeking a Sales Manager (Event/MICE) to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Managing operational and administrative functions to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and closed off in a timely manner, ensuring all invoices are settled and withholding tax certificates are administered accordingly.
- Communicating, maintaining, and developing client and vendor relationships.
- Delivering events on time and within budget, ensuring that all events meet expectations.
- Preparing event venue rate cards, sales brochures, and location-specific SOPs.
- Ensuring excellent customer service and a prompt response to event inquiries.
- Attending relevant networking events to build a database of potential clients and partners.
- Overseeing and supporting the timely training of events team members for any upgrades or integration of programs/systems used by the team.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in event management and sales.
- Good command of English.
- Proven track record in event organization and event operations.
- Capable of coaching team members and possessing strong leadership skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
