Our client is a leading company in foreign banking.
They are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Head of Credit Transaction Management to join their team. This leadership role focuses on improving processes, managing credit operations, and cultivating strong relationships with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborating with the Legal Department and Relationship Managers to prepare credit facility agreements, security documents, and other relevant paperwork.
- Ensuring all facility documents adhere to credit decisions and legal requirements through thorough documentation control.
- Validating conditions precedent, managing system limits to align with credit decisions, and following up on subsequent conditions, waivers, or temporary documents.
- Confirming the framework for required covenants in the ‘Covenant Manager’ tool aligns with executed agreements.
- Overseeing deal implementation by ensuring credit transactions in systems comply with credit decisions, rules, and procedures, and coordinating with Front Office Credit Analysts.
- Verifying the integrity of risk data in various systems, ensuring alignment with credit decisions, and maintaining accurate guarantor and guarantee records.
- Monitoring legal documentation for anomalies or approaching expiry dates, and raising concerns when necessary.
- Alerting Risk Corporate, Business Heads, and Management about any shifts in risk profiles identified during controls.
- Ensuring timely submission of accurate reports and effective deployment of regulatory requirements related to Credit Operations, Loans, and Referential areas.
- Supervising the Regulatory Data Transformation (RDT) Project, and coordinating with BOT, Group IT, and stakeholders.
- Managing task assignments, overseeing team attendance, and supporting work prioritization.
- Assisting team members with production challenges and escalating unresolved issues as needed.
- Leading process improvements to enhance efficiency, standardization, and accuracy.
- Promoting risk and compliance awareness, addressing gaps, and implementing necessary controls to mitigate risks.
- Mentoring team members through coaching and training, and fostering professional development.
- Maintaining consistent communication with stakeholders to align responsibilities and governance.
- Supporting regional and global initiatives within CEP & CO, and acting as a backup for the Head of Department when necessary.
- Championing a collaborative culture, fostering continuous improvement and individual autonomy within the team.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in foreign banking with expertise in financial, credit, and operational functions.
- Experience in managing teams and nurturing their professional growth.
- Ability to excel as a team player while also working independently.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Professional proficiency in English with excellent communication abilities.
