Overview:
An IT Audit Manager in Thailand’s financial sector plays a key role in assessing and enhancing IT controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and mitigating technology risks. This position requires leadership in managing IT audit processes, evaluating IT governance frameworks, and providing insights to strengthen cybersecurity and risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading IT Audits: Planning, executing, and overseeing IT audit engagements, focusing on IT general controls, application security, and risk assessments.
- Managing Risk & Compliance Oversight: Identifying IT-related risks, assessing internal controls, and ensuring compliance with regulations from authorities such as the Bank of Thailand (BOT) and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
- Driving Process & Control Improvements: Providing recommendations to enhance IT security, data protection, and operational efficiency.
- Leading Team Leadership & Development: Managing and mentoring a team of IT auditors, ensuring high-quality audit execution and continuous professional development.
- Preparing Reporting & Communication: Preparing detailed reports on audit findings and risk mitigation strategies, presenting insights to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Accounting, or a related field.
- Certifications: CISA, CISM, CISSP, or equivalent credentials preferred.
- Experience: At least 7 years of IT audit, IT risk management, or cybersecurity experience, preferably within financial services.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of IT governance, cybersecurity frameworks, and risk assessment methodologies. Familiarity with data analytics and automation tools is a plus.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written skills in Thai and English, with the ability to present complex IT audit concepts to business leaders.
