Job Description
PRTR is helping our client hire an IT Manager to lead a team of 4-5 staff members in supporting business operations.
The role requires working closely with the global team to implement top-down IT strategies and policies at the Thailand office. Relevant experience in the banking industry or capital markets will be given preference.
Responsibilities:
- Managing the IT team, including IT Operations and IT Security, to support business operations.
- Liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure all processes and procedures meet security standards.
- Acting as a key point of contact with local regulators for IT compliance and aligning IT risk management.
- Reviewing and conducting tests for disaster recovery and business continuity plans as needed.
- Working closely with the Operations team to provide back-office support.
- Engaging with the Regional IT team to align local IT strategies and direction with global initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Infrastructure and IT Operations (Server, Network, and Telephony systems).
- Knowledge of ISO 27001 and its use as a best practice for IT operations.
- In-depth knowledge of banking systems, especially in capital markets.
- Basic knowledge of programming languages used in banking.
