Job Description
We're looking for a Sales Engineer for one of the most successful automation clients in the region.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for all outside sales activities for all company products and services: safety automation, consulting and engineering service projects, and training.
- Execute sales programs particular to the accounts of responsibility, and achieve assigned sales quotas.
- Develop new customers, system integrators, and OEM machine makers in the assigned territory, and, maintain contact with the assigned customers on an ongoing basis, and develop customer solutions and proposals, and business activities.
- Demonstrate the ability to work within cross functional teams in the region, particularly the Southeast Asia regional HQ in Singapore; this position requires working diligently with the Technical Support, Service Engineering, Inside Sales and Marketing teams.
- Deliver content in marketing activities, such as, but not limited to seminar presentations, exhibitions, and workshops, etc.
- Communicate customer feedback/needs to product marketing.
- Maintain account information, proposals and activities in the CRM or relevant system.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of a Bachelor degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Automation, or a related field.
- Minimum of three years of experience in the industrial automation / machinery safety equipment field.
- Solution selling and territory planning skills.
- A proactive, self starter, who is team-oriented.
- Good sales and marketing skills - B2B environment.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Able to travel within Southeast Asia from time to time.
- Able to speak Thai.
- Good command of English is an added advantage.
