  • Leading and managing a team of [200] employees across various departments, including production, maintenance, quality control, and warehousing.
  • Developing and implementing production plans and schedules to meet customer demand, budget constraints, and quality standards.
  • Monitoring and optimising production processes to continuously improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Identifying and implementing cost-saving initiatives to minimize production expenses and optimize profit margins.
  • Ensuring strict adherence to all safety regulations and quality control procedures.
  • Developing and maintaining positive relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and regulatory agencies.
  • Managing the plant budget and P&L statement, ensuring financial targets are met.
  • Staying current with industry trends and best practices in manufacturing and food safety.
  • Fostering a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Plant Manager in the food and beverage industry, with a proven track record of success in managing a facility of similar size and complexity.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve productivity, reduce costs, and achieve profit targets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and other relevant software programs.
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodology is a plus.
