Job Description
- Leading and managing a team of [200] employees across various departments, including production, maintenance, quality control, and warehousing.
- Developing and implementing production plans and schedules to meet customer demand, budget constraints, and quality standards.
- Monitoring and optimising production processes to continuously improve efficiency and productivity.
- Identifying and implementing cost-saving initiatives to minimize production expenses and optimize profit margins.
- Ensuring strict adherence to all safety regulations and quality control procedures.
- Developing and maintaining positive relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and regulatory agencies.
- Managing the plant budget and P&L statement, ensuring financial targets are met.
- Staying current with industry trends and best practices in manufacturing and food safety.
- Fostering a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Plant Manager in the food and beverage industry, with a proven track record of success in managing a facility of similar size and complexity.
- Demonstrated ability to improve productivity, reduce costs, and achieve profit targets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and other relevant software programs.
- Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodology is a plus.
