Job Summary:
We seek an experienced and results-driven Strategic Sourcing Team Leader to oversee and manage the end-to-end strategic sourcing operations within the Food & Beverage industry. This role will focus on sourcing filling machines, downstream equipment, and MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) services. The ideal candidate will lead a global team of procurement professionals, ensure consistent and effective procurement practices across multiple countries, and drive cost optimization and supplier performance improvements. The Strategic Sourcing Team Leader will work closely with local country representatives, monitor team performance, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver sourcing solutions that align with the company’s objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and managing the end-to-end procurement process for filling machines, downstream equipment, and MRO services.
- Leading and mentoring a team of procurement professionals, ensuring high performance and continuous professional development.
- Participating in cross-functional projects and initiatives to support procurement-driven business improvements.
- Using SAP and other procurement tools to manage purchase orders, supplier communications, and data analytics.
- Analyzing market trends, supplier performance data, and procurement metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and cost reduction.
- Monitoring supplier performance through KPIs and regular performance reviews, addressing any issues that arise to ensure continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in the faculty of Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement, with at least 5 years in a strategic sourcing or leadership role within the Food & Beverage (F&B) sector.
- Proven experience in sourcing filling machines, downstream equipment, and MRO services.
- Proficiency in SAP, with hands-on experience in procurement and materials management modules.
- Fluent in English (verbal and written). Additional language skills are a plus.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on mentoring and developing talent.
