Key Responsibilities

  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in export factoring, focusing on companies engaged in international trade. Foster and sustain relationships with potential clients, partners and stakeholders.
  • Actively connecting with exporters, manufacturers and trading firms to understand their financial needs and provide customized export factoring solutions.
  • Creating and implementing an effective sales strategy to meet business goals. Prepare and present persuasive sales proposals to prospective clients.
  • Overseeing and expanding a portfolio of export factoring clients. Monitor client performance and receivables to ensure timely payments and reduce risks.
  • Keeping abreast of global trade trends, regulatory updates, and market dynamics influencing export factoring. Offer insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Working alongside internal departments, including credit, operations, and risk management, to ensure smooth service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Generating regular credit proposals and reports on loan applications, sales activities, market trends, and client performance for senior management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a related discipline.
  • At least 3 years of Business Development experience in the financial services sector, focusing on export factoring or trade finance.
  • In-depth knowledge of export factoring, global trade and international payment systems.
  • Proven success in developing and implementing effective sales strategies.
  • Strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in analyzing financial statements and assessing credit risk.
  • Excellent relationship-building and networking abilities.
