To support our client's ambitious growth objectives, we are seeking a proactive and experienced Sales Management Assistant to join our team.
Role Overview
As a Sales Management Assistant, you will be working closely with the Commercial Director, providing support in both administrative and analytical capacities.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating and attending monthly sales, demand, and commercial meetings, ensuring timely agenda preparation and consolidation of inputs from Sales, Marketing, Demand Management, and Finance teams. Taking minutes and tracking action points.
- Managing the Commercial Director’s calendar and assisting in organizing business trips for him and the team.
- Overseeing the planning and execution of (Half-Yearly) International Commercial Meetings.
- Monitoring and tracking the APMEA team’s leave and absences in coordination with Corporate HR.
- Facilitating the onboarding process for new team members, ensuring smooth integration by arranging introductions and updating team profiles.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for sales and support functions in the absence of the Commercial Director.
- Tracking weekly order intake against budget and demand plans, providing analysis and commentary in collaboration with Sales, Customer Service, and Commercial Finance teams.
- Maintaining and reporting on sales opportunities, contract obligations, and outstanding quotes, ensuring timely action by the sales team.
- Analyzing slow-moving stock, credit coverage, and outstanding payments, offering suggestions for improvement.
- Reviewing monthly OPEX, T&A, and trade marketing spending versus budget, supporting budget holders in financial tracking and forecasts.
- Assisting in compiling annual business plans and budgets, including relevant analysis.
- Maintaining the shared team folder, ensuring accurate content and compliance tracking.
- Supporting Sales, Marketing, and Business Development with market research and trend analysis.
- Collaborating with the Sales and Business Development teams to assess market pricing, analyze value chains, and suggest improvements.
- Under the Commercial Director’s supervision, managing the price list, monitoring rebate obligations, and providing periodic reports in coordination with Commercial Finance.
- Liaising with office tenants to maintain a functional workspace.
- Managing office communication infrastructure, including WiFi, phone subscriptions, and IT services.
- Serving as the point of contact for the accounting firm, ensuring timely submission of invoices and other documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 8-12 years of experience in management/sales assistance and business analysis.
- Commercial acumen with FMCG experience preferred.
- Comfort with working in an international setting.
- Highly organized, proactive, and capable of engaging with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office, fluent in English and Thai.
