Position Overview
The Corporate Communication & Government Affairs Manager will play a key role in shaping and executing strategic communications, public affairs, and regulatory engagement for the Non-Profit organization. This role is responsible for strengthening industry positioning, advocacy efforts, stakeholder relationships, and policy influence to support the pharmaceutical sector in Thailand.
Key Responsibilities

Corporate Communication & Public Affairs
- Developing and implementing strategic communication plans to enhance our public image and advocacy goals.
- Crafting press releases, speeches, newsletters, and digital content to effectively communicate industry developments.
- Managing relationships with media, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and healthcare influencers to ensure positive industry representation.
- Overseeing internal and external communication initiatives, including member engagement and crisis communication strategies.

Government & Regulatory Affairs
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with government agencies, including the Ministry of Public Health (MOPH), Thai FDA, and policymakers.
- Monitoring, analyzing, and providing strategic insights on legislative and regulatory developments that impact the pharmaceutical industry.
- Leading industry dialogues, public-private partnerships (PPP), and advocacy campaigns to support innovation-friendly policies.
- Representing our organization in meetings with government officials, trade associations, and international bodies to drive policy alignment and industry competitiveness.

Industry Advocacy & Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborating with member companies to align policy priorities and advocacy strategies.
- Organizing forums, roundtable discussions, and stakeholder engagements to facilitate dialogue on key healthcare and regulatory issues.
- Working with international pharmaceutical associations to coordinate regional and global advocacy efforts.
- Strengthening relationships with healthcare professionals, patient groups, and industry partners to support ethical and sustainable pharmaceutical policies.

Policy Research & Thought Leadership
- Conducting research and developing position papers on pharmaceutical policies, market access, and regulatory reforms.
- Providing expert insights to support evidence-based policymaking and industry recommendations.
- Identifying global best practices and advising on policy trends that can benefit Thailand’s healthcare ecosystem.

Crisis & Reputation Management
- Developing and implementing crisis communication protocols to manage regulatory or reputational risks.
- Acting as a spokesperson for the organization when addressing sensitive policy or industry-related issues.
- Ensuring adherence to ethical and compliance standards in all advocacy and communication efforts.
Key Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in corporate communication, public affairs, or government relations, preferably in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or trade association sector.
- Strong knowledge of Thai regulatory frameworks, public policy, and healthcare legislation.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement, lobbying, and advocacy campaigns.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Thai and English.
- Ability to manage high-level government relationships and industry partnerships.
- Strategic thinker with proactive problem-solving skills and crisis management experience.
- Background in public policy, law, political science, healthcare, or business administration is preferred.
