Job Description

Sales Responsibilities:

  • Achieving sales, marketing, and financial targets for assigned products.
  • Driving product sales within the approved pricing framework while maximizing revenue potential.
  • Promoting optimal usage of company products across customer sites.
  • Developing and implementing initiatives to grow sales and enhance profit margins.
  • Monitoring and advising on inventory levels to meet customer and company requirements.
  • Coordinating with internal departments to ensure seamless customer interactions and satisfaction.
  • Preparing and managing quotations and tender submissions.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer records by updating SFDC daily.
  • Collaborating with channel partners to drive the growth of strategic products, setting clear objectives and targets.
  • Reporting customer satisfaction issues to the Sales Manager promptly for resolution.

Marketing Responsibilities:

  • Staying informed about market trends, key prospects, and competitor activities; sharing insights with Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Developing, implementing, and tracking business plans for the product portfolio to meet objectives.
  • Providing recommendations on marketing strategies, including promotions, advertising, pricing, and distribution methods.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key opinion leaders and industry stakeholders.
  • Partnering with Sales Managers/Specialists to design and execute effective sales strategies.

Product Support Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating with sales support teams for product planning, evaluations, demonstrations, installations, and post-sales assistance.
  • Collaborating with the Service Department to ensure equipment meets specifications and receives appropriate maintenance.
  • Conducting demonstrations for small instruments such as thermal cyclers and imaging systems.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Life Sciences, preferably in Molecular Biotechnology, Microbiology, or related fields.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience with a proven sales track record.
  • Familiarity with life science research or diagnostic practices.
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
