Job Description
Sales Responsibilities:
- Achieving sales, marketing, and financial targets for assigned products.
- Driving product sales within the approved pricing framework while maximizing revenue potential.
- Promoting optimal usage of company products across customer sites.
- Developing and implementing initiatives to grow sales and enhance profit margins.
- Monitoring and advising on inventory levels to meet customer and company requirements.
- Coordinating with internal departments to ensure seamless customer interactions and satisfaction.
- Preparing and managing quotations and tender submissions.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer records by updating SFDC daily.
- Collaborating with channel partners to drive the growth of strategic products, setting clear objectives and targets.
- Reporting customer satisfaction issues to the Sales Manager promptly for resolution.
Marketing Responsibilities:
- Staying informed about market trends, key prospects, and competitor activities; sharing insights with Sales and Marketing teams.
- Developing, implementing, and tracking business plans for the product portfolio to meet objectives.
- Providing recommendations on marketing strategies, including promotions, advertising, pricing, and distribution methods.
- Building and maintaining relationships with key opinion leaders and industry stakeholders.
- Partnering with Sales Managers/Specialists to design and execute effective sales strategies.
Product Support Responsibilities:
- Coordinating with sales support teams for product planning, evaluations, demonstrations, installations, and post-sales assistance.
- Collaborating with the Service Department to ensure equipment meets specifications and receives appropriate maintenance.
- Conducting demonstrations for small instruments such as thermal cyclers and imaging systems.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Life Sciences, preferably in Molecular Biotechnology, Microbiology, or related fields.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience with a proven sales track record.
- Familiarity with life science research or diagnostic practices.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
