Responsibilities:
- Develop retail channel market strategy covering Where to Play, What to Play, and How to Win strategies and plans. This primarily includes market assessment, retail strategy and priorities, visibility and availability standards, and retail resource management for the product division.
- Formulate strategies for retail channels to ensure target achievement.
- Develop plans for retail management concerning new product launches and sustainability, covering aspects such as product coverage, display, training, and retail marketing. Oversee implementation and execution.
- Manage various retail resources in compliance with company policies and supervise operations to ensure cost-effective and high-quality store operations.
- Act as the key liaison between the country (SEAMC) and RHQ (APAC) to deliver retail strategies, maintaining clear and effective communication within the team while supporting ad hoc tasks as required.
- Monitor and manage the country’s retail budget for retail materials and events.
- Handle other tasks that support the Retail Director.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of work experience in retail or channel management, including key accounts and general trade.
- Experience in the mobile phone industry is mandatory.
- Proven ability to lead and develop new product retail campaigns through a hands-on management style.
- Ability to serve as the Retail Market Expert for various retailers within the defined geography, building and maintaining positive working relationships with management, clients, and customers.
- Strong analytical, logical thinking, process management skills; detail-oriented and result-driven.
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and handle challenging situations with customers and associates.
- Proven track record in developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve revenue and sales goals.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a passion for multitasking.
- Excellent communication and prioritization skills.
- Proficient in both spoken and written English, with strong computer literacy.
