Our client is a leading FMCG manufacturer.
Responsibilities:
- Contributing to the continuous technical improvement of the facility, equipment, and production systems supporting plant business goals.
- Reducing plant unplanned losses by increasing equipment reliability through a systematic approach (The Company's Work System—Reliability Maintenance).
- Developing maintenance standards (including maintenance tasks and inspection/lubrication tasks) to mitigate risks and maintain equipment’s basic condition.
- Developing people's capabilities through training and practice.
- Driving efforts to reduce losses by developing maintenance standards, strengthening the breakdown elimination process, monitoring and controlling the maintenance work management process, and leading improvement projects/initiatives.
- Participating in the Reliability Maintenance CoP to share and reapply best practices across the region.
- Participating in the business planning and budgeting process, and developing short- and long-term cost containment/reduction strategies.
- Being accountable for supporting the execution of relevant projects within assigned areas and shifts. Monitoring project plans and status to ensure completion, while communicating project or program status, work activities, and potential issues to project members and others as appropriate.
- Assigning project-related work to team members, considering workload, deadlines, and team members’ capabilities.
- Ensuring adequate contractor/consultant levels to maximize the value of facility maintenance. Supporting plant and contractor safety, as well as food safety/quality programs.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with experience in a manufacturing environment, is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance/engineering within a manufacturing plant.
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems is required.
- Experience with food processing equipment, packing equipment, and product inspection equipment in food manufacturing plants is preferred.
- Strong English communication skills, both spoken and written, are necessary.
