Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Country Manager to lead the overseas market, driving sales and business development efforts in the data centre and industrial automation sectors. This leadership role involves managing local teams, developing strategic market initiatives, and expanding the company’s footprint in the region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in power electronics, such as AC-DC converters, and an in-depth understanding of local industry dynamics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Leadership:

    • Serving as the primary representative for the company in Indonesia, building and maintaining a strong brand presence in the region.
    • Developing and executing a comprehensive strategy to grow market share in the data centre and industrial automation sectors.
  • Team and Operations Management:

    • Leading and managing a team of sales, business development, and operations professionals.
    • Overseeing daily business operations, ensuring smooth coordination across functions and alignment with regional goals.
    • Building and expanding local teams to support business growth.
  • Customer and Partner Engagement:

    • Developing relationships with key customers, suppliers, and partners.
    • Driving new business opportunities by identifying customer needs and providing tailored solutions.
    • Negotiating and securing high-value contracts while ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Technical and Market Expertise:

    • Leveraging knowledge of power electronics (e.g., AC-DC converters, DC-DC power supplies, UPS systems) to provide technical guidance and support to customers and internal teams.
    • Monitoring industry trends, regulations, and competitive activity to inform strategies and identify opportunities.
  • Business Development:

    • Identifying and exploring new revenue streams, including emerging technologies and untapped market segments.
    • Collaborating with regional and global teams to align strategies and resources effectively.
  • Financial Accountability:

    • Setting and managing budgets, revenue targets, and profitability goals for the overseas market.
    • Providing regular updates and reports to regional leadership on performance metrics and growth plans.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in sales, business development, or country management, preferably in the power electronics, data centre, or industrial automation sectors.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing a country-level operation and driving business growth.
  • Deep technical understanding of power electronics and related technologies.
  • Strong local market knowledge, including customer needs, regulatory requirements, and cultural nuances.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to build and inspire high-performing teams.
  • Fluency in Bahasa and English is required.
