Responsibilities
- Leading and managing daily financial activities, including accounting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Generating monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring compliance with Thai accounting standards and internal policies.
- Preparing quarterly and yearly reports for submission to the Head Office, ensuring they align with the global Financial Reporting Standards and organizational policies.
- Conducting financial analysis to provide actionable insights to leadership.
- Managing cash flow, as well as accounts payable and receivable, to maintain smooth operations.
- Ensuring compliance with local tax regulations, reporting requirements, and statutory filings.
- Working with external auditors and regulatory bodies to support audit processes and ensure compliance.
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring internal controls to protect assets and minimize risks.
- Identifying and addressing any control weaknesses, and applying corrective measures to ensure robust asset protection.
- Supporting business expansion by providing financial forecasts, analysis, and strategic recommendations.
- Collaborating with the executive team on long-term financial planning initiatives.
- Leading the annual budgeting process, and coordinating with departments to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Monitoring performance relative to budget, analyzing variances and offering recommendations to optimize budget allocation.
- Working closely with department leaders to ensure accurate financial forecasts, adjusting as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a Financial Controller or similar role, with demonstrated success in managing financial operations.
- Proficiency with accounting software.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including advanced analytical functions.
- Solid understanding of Thai financial regulations and tax laws.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills in both Thai and English.
