Country Sales Manager (Warehousing) is in a key position to drive revenue and sales growth by defining hit-to-the-point warehousing strategy along with creating and maintaining customer relationships to enhance business reputation.
Core Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing sales strategies and business plans to achieve sales targets.
- Identifying new sales opportunities and market trends to expand the warehousing business.
- Setting clear sales goals and objectives for the team.
- Recruiting, training, and managing the sales team, providing coaching and guidance.
- Motivating and leading the team to achieve sales targets and performance goals.
- Conducting regular performance evaluations and providing feedback.
- Identifying customer needs and proposing tailored warehousing solutions.
- Addressing customer concerns and issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Overseeing the sales process, including lead generation, prospecting, sales presentations, and contract negotiations.
- Collaborating with the operations team to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
- Monitoring sales metrics and reporting on sales performance to senior management.
- Staying informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
- Using market insights to adjust sales strategies and gain a competitive edge.
- Driving revenue growth by expanding the customer base and increasing sales within the existing customer portfolio.
- Managing pricing strategies to optimize profitability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Supply Chain Management, or related fields
- Proven experience in sales and management roles within the warehousing, logistics, or supply chain industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Analytical and strategic thinking to develop effective sales strategies.
- Understanding of warehousing and logistics operations.
- Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Knowledge of local and international trade regulations is a plus.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
