Job Description
Procurement
- Forging and nurturing robust vendor relationships, championing quality and punctuality.
- Streamlining the procurement cycle from purchase order to payment.
- Staying ahead of market fluctuations, always hunting for the best deals.
- Flexing your negotiation muscles to secure optimal prices, delivery terms, and quality.
- Diving deep into raw material costs and market trends.
- Synergizing with production and QA teams to ensure materials hit the mark.
- Being the master of documentation, keeping meticulous records of all purchasing activities.
- Maintaining a well-organized filing system for raw material documents, safety data sheets, and certificates of analysis.
- Putting suppliers under the microscope with yearly audits.
- Keeping the higher-ups in the loop with regular, insightful reports.
Logistics
- Coordinating inbound and outbound logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
- Optimizing logistics processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency, ensuring on-time delivery of goods.
- Managing relationships with logistics service providers, including freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers.
- Ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and company policies.
- Monitoring and managing inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock to meet production demands while minimizing excess inventory.
- Resolving any issues or discrepancies related to shipments, deliveries, or inventory levels.
- Monitoring the freight fee, local and overseas.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in purchasing and/or logistics, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of supply chain management, procurement processes, and logistics operations.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge and experience in the SAP system will be an added advantage.
- Familiarity with international trade regulations and customs requirements.
- Good communication in English and interpersonal skills.
- Working hours: Mon - Fri (8.30 - 17.30).
