Job Description

Our client is the leading automotive assembly company with over 50 years of experience, located in Samut Prakan.

The Finance Manager will be key in setting up and managing the financial systems for the new car distributor business. This includes handling daily financial tasks and creating financial structures, procedures, and templates that follow the Group’s guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Setup & Control: Establishing and maintaining the financial control framework for daily business operations. Developing interim financial structures, procedures, and templates to ensure alignment with the Group's financial policies.
  • Cash Flow Management: Managing cash flow, monitoring expenses, and overseeing financial accounting. Creating budgets that support long-term business growth.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyzing differences between the budget, forecasts, and actual results. Reviewing the profit & loss statement and balance sheet to understand financial performance.
  • Reporting: Preparing and submitting monthly financial reports, including variance reports and profit & loss analysis. Providing insights into both financial and non-financial performance.
  • Cost Control & Closing Process: Ensuring the accuracy of costing information during the financial closing process. Managing the month-end close to maintain financial account accuracy and meet reporting deadlines. 
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Preparing annual budgets, forecasts, and projections. Analyzing actual financial results against the budget and collaborating with other departments to identify areas for performance improvement and growth opportunities.
  • Compliance & Audit: Managing the preparation of statutory accounts promptly and liaising with auditors to ensure accuracy and compliance. Performing quarterly and year-end stock takes as required. 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Strong experience in financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Experience working in or with automotive businesses or related industries is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Experience using accounting systems such as ERP, Express, SAP, or related programs.
  • Good command of English.
