Job Description

The Legal Counsel will play a crucial role in navigating the complex regulatory landscape of payment gateways and e-money licensing in Thailand. This position involves close interaction with the Bank of Thailand regulations and requires a proactive individual who can effectively review and draft legal contracts while ensuring compliance with local laws.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing legal advice on matters related to payment gateways, e-money licensing, and other financial services.
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and agreements.
• Ensuring compliance with the Bank of Thailand regulations and other relevant laws.
• Liaising with external regulators and advisors.
• Assisting in the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures.
• Handling legal disputes and managing any litigation processes.
• Staying updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law.
• A lawyer's license is valid in Thailand.
• 2-3 years of experience in a law firm.
• Has experience in litigation.
• Proficient in drafting and reviewing legal documents.
• Proactive, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills in both Thai and English.
