Our client is a large private hospital.

They are seeking an experienced Nurse Director to lead the nursing department. This role involves strategic planning, staff management, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the daily operations of the nursing department, ensuring efficient and effective patient care delivery.
  • Developing, implementing, and evaluating nursing policies, procedures, and standards in alignment with hospital goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Managing nursing staff, including hiring, training, conducting performance evaluations, and supporting professional development initiatives.
  • Fostering a positive and collaborative environment that promotes professional growth and teamwork among nursing staff.
  • Ensuring compliance with all healthcare regulations, safety standards, and accreditation requirements.
  • Collaborating with healthcare providers and department heads to coordinate patient care and improve clinical outcomes.
  • Monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) related to nursing services and making recommendations for improvements.
  • Leading quality improvement initiatives within the nursing department to enhance patient safety and care quality.
  • Handling patient and family concerns and complaints effectively, ensuring a patient-centered approach to care.
  • Providing guidance and mentorship to nursing staff, facilitating continuous education and specialty training as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing with an active nursing license.
  • A minimum of 10 years of nursing experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role in a hospital setting.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, nursing standards, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to inspire and lead a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
  • Proficiency in healthcare management software and electronic health records.
