We are seeking a skilled and experienced Procurement Department Manager to join our team and contribute to our continued success.
Job Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing effective procurement strategies to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality in the acquisition of goods and services.
- Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring adherence to terms and conditions.
- Leading and inspiring the procurement team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Implementing cost-saving initiatives while maintaining high standards of quality and service.
- Continuously evaluating and enhancing procurement processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies in all procurement activities.
- Developing and managing departmental budgets, monitoring expenses and identifying opportunities for savings.
- Managing a team of Import-Export, Shipping & Forwarder Agents and responsible for Import-Export declaration at customs formality management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in purchasing, sourcing, supply chain, import-export, etc.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of import-export regulations, sourcing, supply chain.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with procurement software and tools.
- Excellent communication in English.
