Our client is a packaging manufacturer.

Responsibilities

• Strategizing and executing sourcing plans to maintain a consistent and cost-efficient supply of raw materials.
• Identifying and engaging potential suppliers, conducting negotiations, and cultivating beneficial partnerships.
• Assessing and overseeing relationships with current and prospective suppliers to ensure high standards of quality, reliability, and timely delivery.
• Regularly evaluating supplier performance and promptly address any issues or concerns that arise.
• Negotiating pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to optimize cost savings while upholding quality standards.
• Staying abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes influencing procurement operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Demonstrated track record of at least 3 years in purchasing, particularly with raw materials.
• Proficient in negotiation and communication skills.
• Deep understanding of procurement strategies, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
