The company is looking for a suitable candidate for the position of Corporate Affairs Manager to join the team.

Job Description

  • Being responsible for overall corporate affairs issues of the company. Managing the company’s public relations and government affairs strategies and internal and external communication.
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders to develop and implement policies that align with and enhance the company's brand and reputation.
  • Cooperating with the headquarters office in China to implement, roll out and localize the corporate branding and corporate affairs policy to the operation in Thailand.
  • Lead all aspects of the Corporate Affairs agendas in Thailand including government affairs, regulatory affairs and complaint & crisis management.
  • Maintaining a good relationship with the government agencies.
  • Taking a role to represent the company before public officials/regulators and in external forums on critical issues for the food and beverage industry.

Qualifications

  • Male or female, aged 35-45 years old with a mature & pleasant personality.
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in Corporate Affairs that covers, government affairs and external communication from food & beverage or related industry.
  • Must be excellent English communication.
  • The ability the Chinese language is a huge plus but not compulsory.
  • Strong knowledge of public policy issues affecting the food and beverage industry specifically regulatory policy trends and developments, including an understanding of and ability to speak on leading approaches to regulation.
  • Ability to build relationships, manage collaboration, and develop and manage coalitions.
  • Strong negotiation skills to manage external and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate (written and oral) on critical issues with senior management, policymakers and related parties, including writing ability to develop policies and frame issues.
  • Must have the ability to work independently and efficiently with little supervision.
