Job Description
Our client is a machinery and automotive parts manufacturer.
The Operation Manager will report directly to the General Manager and will be responsible for the following key functions:
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the overall factory operations and management, developing and implementing factory operation strategies to achieve production goals.
- Leading departments such as production, quality, procurement, and logistics to promote Lean Production and continuous improvement.
- Monitoring the execution of production plans to ensure product quality, delivery timelines, and cost control.
- Managing team development, promoting cross-department collaboration, and enhancing team efficiency and cohesion.
- Maintaining effective communication with headquarters and customers to ensure factory operations meet global standards and customer requirements.
- Participating in business development strategies for the company's operations in Thailand, providing support for management decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 5 years at a management level.
- A background in machinery manufacturing or the automotive 1st-tier industry in a multinational company is preferred.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Familiarity with production management systems such as Lean Production and Six Sigma, with extensive on-site management experience.
- Strong team management and cross-department collaboration skills, capable of driving organizational change and process optimization.
- Possessing strategic thinking and the ability to provide business development suggestions for the company.
- Must be fluent in both Thai and English.
