Responsibilities:
Lab Testing:
- Overseeing installation, commissioning, and replacement of test equipment.
- Developing and implementing testing strategies for hardware and software, ensuring updates and global support.
- Managing preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure operational efficiency.
- Ensuring compliance of testing tools with process standards and industry regulations.
- Aligning test bench development with customer requirements and company strategy.
- Handling supplier relations for procurement, training, maintenance, and support.
- Standardizing test benches, procedures, and measurement techniques across the organization.
- Supporting R&D in developing custom test setups and benches.
- Optimizing maintenance costs, quality, and supplier management with effective strategies.
- Researching and implementing new technologies to enhance testing efficiency and operations.
Customer Quality:
- Handling customer complaints and quality investigations, ensuring follow-ups to enhance satisfaction.
- Identifying, reporting, and resolving quality issues effectively.
- Analyzing quality concerns, part returns, and risks, and applying corrective measures.
- Ensuring process alignment with company policies and industry standards (ISO, IATF).
- Managing daily team operations, maintaining efficiency and quality standards.
- Reporting lessons learned and recurring issues to drive continuous improvement.
Strategic Implementation:
- Tracking project progress and key details.
- Ensuring product quality meets customer standards.
- Supporting and guiding the team as needed.
- Reporting process improvements to management.
- Updating project milestones and quality assessments for launch.
- Helping resolve specification gaps with customers.
- Performing other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Master's in engineering or a related field with 10 years of experience, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Expertise in mechanical, mechatronic systems, and braking technology.
- Knowledge in software development, system overview, and functional safety.
- Project management and testing/bench experience.
- Proficient in CAD, PLM tools, and data analytics software.
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
- Experience in reliability testing and failure analysis.
- Expertise in root cause analysis (6Sigma, DMAIC, DFSS).
