Job Description
Our client in the new plant setup chemical manufacturing industry is seeking a candidate to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting Duties:
- Maintaining accurate financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, and receivable.
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Preparing tax filings, including VAT, withholding, and corporate income tax, and ensuring full compliance with local tax and regulatory requirements.
- Conducting regular reconciliations and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and BOI regulations.
- Assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Monitoring and reporting on cash flow and working capital management.
- Supporting the auditing process and ensuring timely completion of audits.
Administrative Support:
- Supporting the management team by handling administrative tasks related to office and plant operations, including procurement of supplies, equipment, and office management.
- Handling HR-related tasks, such as maintaining employee records and coordinating recruitment for both office and factory staff.
- Liaising with suppliers and service providers for the factory’s operational needs, such as maintenance services, raw material procurement, and transportation.
- Maintaining documentation for contracts, purchase orders, and supplier agreements.
- Maintaining company licenses and permits, ensuring timely renewals and regulatory compliance.
- Facilitating communication across departments to streamline operations with the Regional Headquarters in Singapore.
BOI Knowledge:
- Understanding and applying BOI regulations to financial and administrative processes.
- Assisting in preparing and submitting BOI applications and reports.
- Staying informed about BOI incentives and compliance requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and administrative roles, preferably in the petrochemical or manufacturing sector.
- Strong knowledge of BOI regulations and financial incentives in Thailand.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication skills in both Thai and English.
