Job Description

Our client provides services to the Oil & Gas industry.

Responsibilities:

The Chief Financial Officer will report directly to the Managing Director or his designate and will assume responsibility for managing all internal and external financial reporting, including the following:

  • Developing and executing the company’s financial strategy, aligning it with growth goals, including preparation for an IPO and subsequent public company operations.
  • Leading the end-to-end IPO process, including collaborating with investment banks, legal teams, auditors, and regulators to ensure compliance with SET requirements and a successful market debut.
  • Driving capital-raising efforts through equity, debt, and alternative financing channels, cultivating relationships with investors, venture capitalists, and financial institutions.
  • Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial modeling to support strategic decision-making and investor communications.
  • Ensuring adherence to all financial regulations, including GAAP/IFRS standards, post-IPO compliance, and other reporting obligations.
  • Serving as a primary point of contact for shareholders, analysts, and institutional investors, delivering clear and compelling financial narratives.
  • Identifying and mitigating financial risks, implementing strong internal controls, and ensuring governance policies are followed.
  • Building and managing a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence.
  • Evaluating and executing potential M&A opportunities to support growth objectives, including conducting due diligence and integration planning.
  • Optimizing cash flow, liquidity, and capital allocation to fuel operations and expansion.
  • Taking responsibility for managing the full range of financial and management accounting functions, including the timely preparation of financial reports, preparing budgets, and overseeing finance & accounting-related requirements.
  • Directing the preparation of financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, reports to shareholders, tax returns, and reports for government regulatory agencies, ensuring group Finance and Accounting policies are followed.
  • Managing the company’s internal control environment, including preparing annual financial statements and liaising with auditors.
  • Monitoring compliance and regularly assessing the adequacy of existing controls, identifying and recommending new controls as appropriate.
  • Managing the company’s cash flow to ensure adequate funds are available to meet the company’s financial commitments.
  • Initiating and supporting the budgeting process and monitoring overall company performance against projections.
  • Implementing reporting and controlling tools relating to revenue, margins, and operational expenses.
  • Supporting and providing contributions to department managers with setting up their annual budgets.
  • Supervising credit collection and litigation, finance treasury, credit lines, and, more generally, relationships with bankers, in agreement with the Board of Directors.
  • Taking responsibility for policy, conflicts of interest, and any kind of corruption, and leading methods of improving the planning process where needed.
  • Studying long-range economic trends and projections relating to company prospects for future growth in overall market share, as well as opportunities for acquisitions or expansion into new product areas.

Qualifications or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Finance, Accounting, or a related field in Costing & Tax.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a multinational company.
  • Excellent communication skills in spoken and written Thai and English.
  • Results-oriented and an effective team player.
