Job Description
Our client is a global multinational professional services company specializing in information technology services and management consulting.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing and managing overall service delivery for the assigned project.
- Supervising general accounting processes, including core financial functions such as billing, bookkeeping, amortizations, monthly and annual reporting, fiscal forms, tax declarations, and half-year reports.
- Supporting the team in resolving complex accounting issues, setting standards, planning, and managing internal/external client relationships.
- Overseeing ledgers, statements, and accounts, ensuring compliance with established procedures and taking necessary actions to resolve discrepancies.
- Verifying calculations, allocations, and document accuracy, addressing incomplete or incorrect records.
- Analyzing financial data, identifying and investigating variances against budgets and standards.
- Preparing and reviewing financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
- Communicating with clients and suppliers to exchange information and clarify financial matters.
- Planning and executing training and team development activities, as required.
- Continuously seeking process improvements to enhance service quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Leading and managing the finance and accounting team.
Qualifications:
- At least 10 years of experience in finance and accounting.
- Knowledge in Joint Venture/Affiliate Accounting, Fixed Assets & Lease Accounting, Intercompany Accounting & BS Reconciliation, Tax Compliance & Financial Reporting, and Payroll & Benefits.
- Flexibility, especially during month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing periods.
- Extensive experience in the BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) industry, managing finance and accounting operations in a shared services or outsourcing environment.
- Experience with accounting systems such as LAWSON and ERP (SAP, Oracle).
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
