PRTR Group Thailand is partnering with a leading automotive company in Rayong and is seeking an experienced Production Manager.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plastic injection moulding, assembly, painting, and metal processing. This role requires excellent leadership and problem-solving skills to drive production efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing daily production operations to ensure smooth manufacturing processes.
• Leading and managing teams across multiple production processes, including plastic injection, assembly, painting, and metal fabrication.
• Developing and implementing production plans, schedules, and KPIs to meet business objectives.
• Monitoring and improving efficiency, quality control, and cost-effectiveness of production activities.
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
• Collaborating with engineering, maintenance, quality control, and supply chain teams to optimize production workflows.
• Analyzing production data and reports to identify bottlenecks, defects, and areas for improvement.
• Training, mentoring, and developing production staff to enhance team performance and engagement.
• Coordinating with senior management to align production activities with overall business goals.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in automotive manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Expertise in plastic injection moulding, assembly, painting, and metal processing.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Proven ability to lead and develop teams with strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
• Knowledge of ISO/TS 16949, IATF 16949, and other automotive industry standards is a plus.
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office tools.
• Fluency in Thai and English is preferred.
