Our client is a leading company in the healthcare industry, providing high-quality medical devices, solutions, and services to improve patient outcomes globally.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing a strategic plan for Continuing Medical Education (CME), aimed at delivering top-tier educational programs for Nephrologists, Medical Doctors, and other healthcare professionals.
- Overseeing the entire management of CME conferences, whether in-person or virtual, including venue selection, catering, registration, and technical support coordination.
- Collaborating with various departments to ensure all conference-related tasks are executed smoothly, efficiently, and on schedule.
- Creating an annual conference agenda with relevant topics and developing a marketing strategy to promote each event.
- Monitoring revenue and expenses to ensure both conference participation and financial success.
- Researching to identify emerging professional trends and exploring new opportunities for generating additional revenue.
- Preparing the department’s annual budget, including projected income and expenses.
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities to achieve and surpass financial goals.
- Sourcing subject matter experts for each conference, reaching out to potential speakers, negotiating contracts, and compensating them as independent contractors.
- Planning and overseeing the development of CME programs, ensuring their relevance, quality, and overall effectiveness. Regularly updating policies and procedures related to the programs.
- Working closely with the Sales team to support product promotion and customer education on key features.
- Providing ongoing education to the National Sales Team (NST) until they are proficient in handling technical sales.
- Performing additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare, Business, Education, or a related field is required.
- At least 1 year of experience in coordinating Continuing Medical Education activities.
- A minimum of 3 years experience in conference management or event planning is preferred.
- Experience in business development, educational program design, or creating continuing professional education courses with measurable outcomes.
- Familiarity with curriculum development, editing, or experience with professional development programs and associations.
- Proven ability to establish positive relationships with Nephrologists, Medical Doctors, and other healthcare professionals.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to present, write, listen actively, and synthesize information from various sources when interacting with colleagues, members, and volunteers.
- Expertise in managing multiple high-quality programs and activities on time and within budget.
- Leadership experience with a focus on project management and managing partnerships.
