Job Overview:

The Visual Merchandising (SEA) role serves as the key point of contact between the regional office and the country VM teams, ensuring alignment in VM strategies and seamless communication across different markets. The role focuses on ensuring consistent visual merchandising standards across SEA, improving store performance, and enhancing brand perception through effective in-store displays and customer engagement strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Regional VM Coordination:

  • Acting as the central point of contact between the regional office and country-specific VM teams, ensuring alignment of priorities and effective communication.
  • Collaborating closely with country managers, retail leads, and marketing heads to understand local needs and ensure consistency with regional VM strategies.

Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Developing and executing visual merchandising strategies that reflect the brand’s goals and resonate with local market trends across Southeast Asia.
  • Ensuring all visual displays align with brand guidelines and maintain the highest standards of visual merchandising quality.

Training and Development:

  • Providing regular training and ongoing support to VM teams across the SEA region, ensuring they are well-equipped to implement VM strategies effectively.
  • Monitoring the consistency and quality of VM execution in all stores, providing feedback and support as needed.

Performance Tracking and Reporting:

  • Tracking and reporting on the performance of VM initiatives, analyzing their impact on brand perception, customer engagement, and sales.
  • Collecting and evaluating store performance data to optimize future VM strategies and improve execution.

Post-Execution Analysis:

  • Developing post-execution reports that summarize key learnings and insights from VM initiatives.
  • Providing recommendations for future VM strategies and improvements, ensuring continuous growth and innovation.

Collaboration with Internal Stakeholders:

  • Working closely with internal teams such as marketing, product, and retail operations to ensure a cohesive approach to visual merchandising.
  • Gathering feedback from store teams, customers, and other internal stakeholders to refine and improve visual merchandising efforts.

Market and Trend Analysis:

  • Continuously researching and staying up-to-date with retail trends and competitor activities in the SEA region to ensure the brand’s VM strategies remain competitive and innovative.
  • Incorporating market insights into visual merchandising plans to enhance customer experience and drive sales.

Qualifications:

  • 30-38 years old.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Retail Management, Visual Merchandising, or a related field.
  • 4 - 5 years of experience in Visual Merchandising or Concept/VM roles within the sports, fashion, and retail industries or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of visual merchandising principles, retail store layouts, customer flow, and product storytelling.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Good command of English (MUST).
  • Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, and other design programs.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong creative and visual skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of retail design trends and the ability to translate them into actionable visual merchandising strategies.
