Our client is a private hospital.
They are looking for a Head of Human Resources who will lead the HR function in supporting the hospital's strategy and ensuring a high-performance culture. The Head of HR will partner with leadership to drive employee engagement and enhance organizational effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Leadership:
- Developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with the hospital’s overall business goals.
- Collaborating with senior leadership to address organizational challenges and enhance workforce capabilities.
Talent Acquisition:
- Overseeing recruitment processes to attract and retain top talent within the healthcare sector.
- Designing and implementing onboarding programs to ensure smooth integration of new employees.
Employee Relations:
- Fostering a positive workplace culture through effective employee engagement initiatives.
- Addressing employee grievances and workplace conflicts with professionalism and confidentiality.
Performance Management:
- Developing and managing performance appraisal processes that align employee goals with hospital objectives.
- Implementing coaching and training programs to enhance employee performance and career development.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Overseeing compensation and benefits programs to ensure market competitiveness and internal equity.
- Regularly assessing and recommending improvements to benefit offerings.
Compliance and Policy Development:
- Ensuring compliance with labor laws, regulations, and hospital policies.
- Developing, implementing, and communicating HR policies and procedures.
Workforce Development:
- Identifying training and development needs and driving programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
- Fostering leadership development initiatives to prepare future leaders within the organization.
Data Management and Reporting:
- Maintaining HR metrics and analytics to inform decision-making and monitor HR effectiveness.
- Preparing reports for senior management on HR initiatives and workforce trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of HR management experience.
- Experience in the hospital business.
- Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Proven ability to lead and develop a team.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Certification from a recognized HR body (e.g., SHRM, PHR, SPHR) is a plus.
