Job Description
Our client manufactures consumable goods internationally.
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring stock levels and identifying purchasing needs.
- Researching potential vendors.
- Tracking orders and ensuring timely delivery.
- Updating internal databases with order details (dates, vendors, quantities, discounts).
- Evaluating offers from vendors and negotiating better prices.
- Preparing cost analyses.
- Maintaining updated records of invoices and contracts.
- Following up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders.
- Liaising with warehouse staff to ensure all products arrive in good condition.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-3 years experience as a Purchasing Assistant, Purchasing Officer, or similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Good command of English.
