JOB PURPOSE
- Handling daily order processing tasks for assigned customers.
- Monitoring pricing and promotion conditions to ensure they are correctly maintained in the Darwin-OTC system.
- Coordinating with the 3rd party logistics provider to arrange deliveries to customers based on the agreed lead time.
- Preparing documents and contacting forwarders to arrange export shipments to customers.
- Leading the daily outbound logistics operation and service providers to meet requirements.
- Ensuring that daily operational issues from service providers are communicated to the team for problem-solving.
- Escalating to management if there is a risk of missing wholesale deadlines or if potential penalty freight charges will occur.
- Expediting urgent shipments to support sales/product testing and ensuring premium freight spending is effective and reasonable compared to potential opportunity losses.
- Analyzing outbound costs and activities to identify savings initiatives or operational improvements.
- Verifying monthly logistics spending and analyzing variance.
- Preparing data for reporting and presentation to customs or management.
- Conducting various other related logistics tasks as requested.
- Monitoring and ensuring the delivery of shipments in accordance with required delivery schedules.
- Handling export/customs issues.
- Ensuring the availability of cost certification of origin for applying Free Trade Agreements (FTA) to customers.
- Following and driving KPI results with analysis reports for the supervisor.
- Complying with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and ISO 50001 systems.
- Serving as an internal auditor for ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and ISO 50001 systems.
- Taking responsibility for KPI progress results.
- Overseeing the Risk Assessment program.
- Complying with Occupational Health & Safety laws, standards, rules, regulations, requirements, and commitments related to the company.
- Consulting and supporting safety-related activities and participation in committees.
- Following job assignments as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Economics, Business Administration and Management, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in a logistics role within a manufacturing environment.
- Good operational knowledge of international ERP systems like SAP, JDE, OTC, and linked applications.
- Strong personality to manage and control logistics providers effectively.
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with people at all levels, both in Thai and English.
- Maturity, energy, systematic thinking, service-mindedness, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of privileges is preferable.
- Good computer skills.
- Competence in customs/export issues, such as HS codes, is an advantage.
