Job Description

  • Conducting market research, overseeing product development, and establishing product management plans for launching company products.
  • Developing product management strategies and product promotion plans associated with new and existing products.
  • Initiating marketing plans for launching new products and ensuring that assigned products gain new market share with effective marketing strategies.
  • Setting up and proposing Product Management Plans, including Budget, Action Plan, and Promotional Activity Plan for assigned products, and submitting them for approval.
  • Developing, managing, and purchasing promotional materials for marketing activities from vendors.
  • Creating scientific materials with all necessary documents and preparing them for approval from Medical Affairs.
  • Managing, controlling, and implementing the approved Product Management Plan, including Budget, Action Plan, and Promotional Activity Plan for assigned products, coordinating activities for market introduction, such as developing kit pages, advertising, direct mail pieces, and sales/product training.
  • Providing marketing support activities and product training to the sales team, supporting them to achieve sales targets for assigned products, and ensuring effective budget utilization.
  • Building relationships with opinion leaders and customers to gather market and technical information while maintaining good relationships.
  • Periodically attending discussions or meetings with ASCA affiliates and DS HQ to exchange and collect product and market information for product launches.
  • Collaborating with relevant parties such as Medical Affairs to establish protocols and carry out clinical trials.
  • Collaborating with Medical Affairs to provide input from sales and marketing perspectives to establish protocols and carry out clinical trials.
  • Managing and designing special financial requirement support studies created by customers/key doctors.
  • Working and collaborating with concerned parties, such as Marketing Business and QSMD, to complete documents for government procurement (e-bidding). Responsible for reviewing and approving content or special technical documents before releasing them.
  • Monitoring sales performance, forecasts, and budgets, and initiating plans to improve team performance.
  • Analyzing and evaluating product performance and customer feedback to initiate new product ideas.
  • Monitoring, analyzing, and evaluating market trends and competitor activities to identify market opportunities for company products.
  • Following up on market information, competition, selling skills, and other information required to achieve the company's objectives, sharing insights with the team, and developing product training.
  • Liaising with related parties to design sales campaigns and sales collateral that are effective and appropriate for the target customers.
  • Leading and coaching assigned staff to conduct the above tasks and support Business Unit activities.
  • Advising superiors on emerging market trends that may lead to product innovations.
  • Acting as a role model for sales professionals.
  • Performing other duties or special projects as assigned or directed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmaceutical Science (MBA is preferable).
  • More than 5 years of experience in Sales and/or Marketing.
  • Good analytical skills, well-planned, with strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, result-oriented, highly self-motivated and effective in a matrix organization.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Able to utilize digital tools for marketing activities.
