Job Description
Our client is a leading company in industrial waste pre-shredders, with its Thailand branch located near the BTS line in Bangkok.
Job Purpose:
The Technical Designer (TD) works in close collaboration with project managers from both Thailand and other countries, creating technical documentation to support project execution.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The TD will take full ownership of the following duties and responsibilities:
- Creating sales drawings based on input from Sales.
- Preparing customer layout drawings in cooperation with the company project manager.
- Reviewing the sales scope of supply and transferring it to technical standard solutions.
- Clarifying specific technical questions with the R&D specialist.
- Customizing standard designs and creating production drawings to meet customer scope and specifications.
- Creating BOMs (Bill of Materials) in ERP and coordinating demand with Operations.
- Adapting the Operation & Maintenance manual for customers.
- Adapting the Installation manual/folder for customers.
Qualifications:
To successfully take on the duties of the TD role, the following qualifications must be met:
- Minimum education as a technical designer or similar.
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience with technical projects in the mechanical industry.
- Advanced user of 3D CAD programs (e.g., Inventor, SolidWorks, etc.).
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., D365, SAP, etc.).
- Fluency in English, both speaking and writing.
- Good communication skills (mainly for company internal and global use).

Note: Travel to the head office in Denmark (typically two times per year) and, when needed, customer on-site meetings (typically two times per year).
