Responsibilities:
- Managing the full set of accounts and accounting functions to ensure accuracy and compliance with current accounting practices and principles.
- Submitting monthly accounts, management reports, forecasts, and budgets in a timely manner.
- Overseeing the proper administration, control, and monitoring of all accounting and treasury functions.
- Performing timely reconciliation of all Balance Sheet accounts, including related schedules, analyses, and intercompany transactions.
- Liaising with bankers, auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, and regulatory bodies on finance, accounting, and tax matters.
- Handling ad-hoc financial tasks and projects as assigned.
- Maintaining and ensuring the effectiveness of internal control policies.
- Supporting and monitoring plans to drive the company toward achieving its objectives.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accountancy or a professional accounting qualification.
- Being proactive, resourceful, and capable of working independently under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, with familiarity with Great Plains, is preferred.
- Knowledge of VAT regulations.
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
- Audit experience is a must.
