Job Summary:

The Facilities & Utilities Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the efficient operation and maintenance of all facility utilities, including HVAC systems, water treatment, power, and other critical infrastructure. This role will also ensure effective energy consumption management and compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations. The supervisor will lead the maintenance and monitoring of CAPEX projects, supervise utilities-related performance metrics, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to optimize plant reliability, energy efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and reliability of utility systems (HVAC, power, water, air systems, etc.).
  • Oversee machine breakdown incidents and perform root cause analysis to prevent future failures and minimize downtime.
  • Lead the planning, budgeting, and execution of CAPEX projects for utility infrastructure upgrades and improvements.
  • Monitor and improve MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) and MTTR (Mean Time to Repair) metrics to ensure maximum system reliability and minimize downtime.
  • Supervise the performance and efficiency of HVAC systems, ensuring they meet operational and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement and manage energy-saving initiatives across utilities and facilities to enhance energy efficiency.
  • Use the SAP system for tracking maintenance work orders, inventory management, and CAPEX project tracking.
  • Track and improve OEE (Overall Equipment Efficiency) metrics, focusing on optimizing the performance, quality, and availability of all critical systems and machinery.
  • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations related to utilities and facility operations.
  • Lead and oversee the MOC (Management of Change) process for any changes to utility systems, equipment, or procedures.
  • Oversee and manage the Bill of Materials (BOM) for facilities and utilities, ensuring accuracy in inventory and spare parts management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Process Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in facilities management, utilities, or plant operations. Experience in CAPEX projects, energy-saving initiatives, and process management is essential.
  • Strong understanding of MTBF, MTTR, machine breakdown analysis, and BOM management.
  • Familiarity with SAP for maintenance management and CAPEX tracking.
  • Knowledge of energy-saving techniques and strategies to reduce operational costs.
  • Good command of English (reading, speaking, and writing).
  • Strong leadership skills with high motivation for teamwork.
