Position Overview
The Senior HR Manager will lead all aspects of the human resources function, ensuring the effective execution of HR strategies, programs, and operations. This leadership role focuses on driving HR excellence, maintaining compliance with laws and regulations, fostering a positive work culture, and aligning HR practices with the company’s strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures that align with business objectives and support organizational growth.
- Managing and optimizing the performance bonus system, including analysis, execution, and gathering employee feedback to ensure fairness and alignment with company goals.
- Overseeing the design and delivery of compensation and benefits programs to maintain market competitiveness and support employee satisfaction.
- Creating and executing employee retention initiatives to promote engagement, reduce turnover, and enhance workplace culture.
- Preparing detailed HR reports and analyses, such as labour cost assessments, salary benchmarking, and workforce analytics.
- Representing the HR function in company-wide meetings, facilitating communication, and ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Planning and managing cross-functional manpower transitions, including risk mitigation and budget control.
- Providing proactive support and advice on employee relations issues, ensuring consistency and compliance with HR policies.
- Leading the recruitment process, ensuring the attraction and selection of top talent efficiently and effectively.
- Monitoring and ensuring adherence to labour laws and regulations, updating company policies as needed to maintain compliance.
- Establishing and overseeing performance appraisal processes to drive accountability and reward high performers.
- Identifying organizational training needs and overseeing the planning, execution, and evaluation of training programs.
- Undertaking additional tasks as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications and Skills
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Psychology, Law, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in HR leadership roles within manufacturing environments.
- Proven ability to analyze complex problems, develop actionable strategies, and deliver results.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities.
- Solid understanding of labour laws, HR best practices, and regulatory compliance.
- Results-driven with a people-centric approach to leadership.
