Job Description

Our client is a leading food manufacturer and distributor in Thailand, they're looking for an experienced HR & GA Manager to join their team in Vietnam.

This role will be key in managing HR and General Administration (GA) functions to support the company's operations and ensure the achievement of business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic HR Partnership: Working closely with Corporate HR to align HR policies and initiatives with the company’s broader goals and objectives.
  • Employee Engagement & Performance: Developing and implementing HR and GA strategies to enhance employee engagement, retention, and overall performance.
  • HR & GA Reporting: Preparing and submitting regular HR & GA reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually), providing insights on workforce trends, performance, and operational effectiveness.
  • Operations Management: Overseeing and managing daily HR and GA operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning across all HR-related activities.
  • Policy Development & Compliance: Developing and implementing HR & GA policies and procedures that adhere to legal requirements and industry best practices.
  • Government Relations: Maintaining strong working relationships with local government agencies and statutory bodies to ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations in Vietnam.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 10 years of experience in an HR & GA role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Thai and Vietnamese labour laws, employment regulations, and best HR practices.
  • Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in English is required; proficiency in Vietnamese is a plus.
