Our client is looking for an HR Manager to oversee the HR functions of the organization, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and fostering a positive work culture.
This role involves managing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and HR policies, as well as driving initiatives to support employee engagement and development.
Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- Overseeing the entire recruitment process, from job posting to candidate selection.
- Managing and enhancing onboarding programs to ensure smooth integration of new hires.
- Acting as a key point of contact for employee concerns, providing guidance and resolving issues.
- Leading initiatives to boost employee engagement, motivation, and retention.
- Fostering a positive and inclusive work environment that aligns with company values.
- Designing and managing performance review processes, and setting clear KPIs and objectives.
- Working closely with department managers to support employee development and address performance issues.
- Providing coaching and development opportunities for employees to advance within the organization.
- Ensuring compliance with labor laws, employment standards, and organizational policies.
- Regularly reviewing, updating, and communicating HR policies to employees.
- Managing disciplinary actions and grievances following company policy and legal standards.
- Developing and managing competitive compensation and benefits programs.
- Conducting regular benchmarking to maintain competitive pay structures.
- Overseeing payroll processing and ensuring timely, accurate payments.
- Identifying training needs and creating development plans to support career growth.
- Organizing and facilitating training sessions, workshops, and professional development initiatives.
- Encouraging continuous learning and skill advancement within the workforce.
- Tracking and analysing HR metrics such as turnover, engagement, and performance trends.
- Preparing regular reports for senior management to inform decision-making.
- Using data to assess the effectiveness of HR initiatives and identify improvement areas.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 5+ years of HR experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of labour laws, employment standards, and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
- High emotional intelligence and leadership capability.
